FAQ

Short answers, no hedging.

Do you guarantee profits?

No — and be suspicious of anyone who does. Most strategies fail honest testing; Tessen's job is to tell you which ones, before real money finds out for you. The Grade is evidence, never a guarantee.

Can Tessen withdraw or hold my funds?

No. Tessen never takes deposits, and API keys with withdrawal permission are rejected at connect time by an automated check against the exchange's own permission API. Funds stay on your exchange account, always.

Why did my agent get an F?

Because on out-of-sample data, net of costs, it didn't make money — or its edge wasn't robust, or its drawdown was unsurvivable, or it was overfit. The Grade report shows exactly which gate failed. An honest F on day one is worth more than a flattering backtest that fails with real money.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the strategy in plain English and the Studio drafts a complete, explicit specification. Every parameter is shown, so you always know exactly what will be tested and traded.

Which exchanges are supported?

Binance (futures) is first for live deployment. Paper trading needs no exchange account at all. More venues follow after live deployment is proven on the first one.

How do payments work?

Tessen is crypto-native: paid plans are prepaid term passes settled in stablecoins (USDT/USDC). No card details, no recurring pull from your account — you renew when a pass expires.

What data does Tessen see about my exchange account?

With a connected key: balances, positions, and order state — what's needed to size trades and manage risk. Keys are encrypted at rest, never shown again after connect, and deleted on disconnect.

Is my strategy shared with anyone?

No. Your agents belong to your account. The future marketplace is opt-in and built so a buyer can verify a track record without seeing your logic.
